This invasion never ends, and any time there are less than 2 stacks of Warriors of Chaos, more will spawn. The first happens at "Imperium Level 7" (42 points), approximately mid-game.There are two Chaos invasions that happen in the Mortal Empires campaign.I did manage to find what looks like some good info on it though on some Steam posts (, ). It seems like this mechanic is not that well documented, so lots of guessing on how it works. Being forced into skinks is a very very different playstyle for the lizardmen where speed, positioning and spells are the key to victory instead of the slow but very powerful saurus. Imo it is a really fun campaign if you are up to a challenge. Imo the only " problems" the campaign has is that ROR are locked into Tehen special mechanic, skinks not being buffed into late game power houses and the last spell that summons coatl feels really weak when compared to the doom rocket or kroak spell. Vampire coast attrition as well as skaven menace from bellow makes for a very painful start where losing most of your army in any non settlement fight an almost game over screen. Imo it is really hard because both vampire coast and skaven are hard to beat with an inferior amry. This effectively means that due to your start position you will be picking a fight with either the vampire coast or the skaven where you need to use an army of skinks to pull victory after victory. His mechanic is for a very aggressive gameplay. Tehen campaign heavily penalizes the player for not using skinks. The empire appe the nerf to vampire coast also help. In terms of qol tehen received a lot centered around his mechanics.in terms of campaign it also got a bit "easier" nakai and gor rok are good allies. With tehen you won't ever reach a level where you can wipe enemies easily.

I see a lot of complaints to him and Malus from people that want an "easy" campaign like ikit. Tehen is a hard campaign for veterans so take the complaints into that perspective. IMO the best campaign design are those that slowly push the faction into op level so that the late game is hilarious strong armies instead of a slog. The biggest problem that tehen and a few other campaigns such as Malus and nakai have is that their campaigns are heavy on penalising the player this makes it less fun in SP. Click to shrink.I might be biased as I have 700h in wh2 alone.
